How Track My Basket makes money

Browsing is free. Here's exactly how it stays free — and the promise that keeps it honest. We'd rather tell you plainly than have you wonder.

1 · Affiliate commissions

We have commercial relationships with some of the retailers whose products we list. We may earn a commission when you buy a product through a link on this site — at no extra cost to you, and it never changes the price you pay. As an Amazon Associate, Track My Basket earns from qualifying purchases.

2 · Where the supermarket prices come from

The Coles, Woolworths and Harris Farm prices we show are from our own timestamped price checks — we are not paid by these supermarkets to list them. Amazon AU is both a price we check and a retailer we may earn commission from; that's flagged on the link.

3 · Rankings are never for sale

The commission we earn varies between retailers. It does not affect how we rank, score or display results. Deals are ordered by genuine value — the verified per-unit price against our own recorded history — never by who pays us. We'll happily show you a cheaper option we earn nothing on.

4 · Track My Basket Gold

An optional paid tier, Gold, sends you the alert the moment one of your staples hits a verified genuine low. Browsing verified deals and keeping a small basket stays free either way.

5 · What we'll never do

No paid placements dressed up as deals, no fake "was" prices, no selling your email. If we ever feature a sponsored listing it will be clearly labelled "Sponsored" and shown apart from normal results.

We're not independent of every retailer we list, and we don't claim to be — we tell you exactly where our commercial relationships are so you can judge for yourself. Some links are affiliate links — if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay, or which deals we show and how we rank them.
