Track My Basket is a household deal service for Australian shoppers, funded by clearly-labelled affiliate links (how we make money). We keep data collection minimal.
What we collect
- If you turn on alerts: your email and the basket items you save, optionally your state — so your basket follows you and the alerts can reach you.
- Standard request logs (via Cloudflare) for security and aggregate analytics.
- Product analytics via PostHog (page views, clicks on deals/saves/buy links, optional session replay with form fields masked) so we can see what visitors do and improve the product. No ad-network retargeting.
- A basket you build while browsing is stored only in your browser (localStorage) until you add your email — then the items are stored with your email so they follow you across devices.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your email.
- We don't run third-party ad networks or sell audience data.
- We fund the service with affiliate links: if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. They're clearly disclosed and never change which deals we show. See how we make money.
Your choices
- Every alert has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to delete your data anytime by emailing hello@trackmybasket.app.
- Consent for alerts is opt-in and revocable (AU Spam Act compliant).
